Take Something, Leave Something, or Just Observe

Art can be fun and joyful, but it can also be liberating.

When was the last time you carried something, an emotion, a responsibility, or a burden that you either created yourself or that was projected onto you by someone else?

We often do not think about how much we hold. Why? Because we become complacent, failing to realize that the weight we carry manifests in our bodies differently from person to person.

When we carry what was meant to be left behind, it freezes us in time, even as we continue to move forward and make progress.

You have the luxury of choice: unburden yourself!

How to Participate (You choose!)

1. Acknowledge the Weight: Add a note to a bottle, close it, and hang it on the tree branches to pause and step back. It simply means recognizing that weight exists, not taking on a burden.

2. Store or Plant: Write a note on the seed paper. Store your message inside the bottle or wait until you get home to plant the paper in a pot to watch it grow into new life.

3. Express Yourself: Write down a burden, a positive event, or an encouraging thought on the paper. Put your message in the small bottle and place it in the soil to transmute it. Your note is completely private.

4. Pause and Reflect: Or simply observe the display and bring gentle awareness to the heaviness and resilience behind every smile without taking anything with you.

Unburden yourself

Take something, leave something

The web version of the bottle and the soil. Write down a burden, a wish, or an encouraging thought. It is completely private. No one reads it, not even Seyoun.

Send it to the universe

Let it go. It disappears the moment you release it. Never stored, never read.

Send it to yourself

Keep it close. Your note arrives in your own inbox, addressed from you to you.
