Curatorial Practice & Portfolio

Curating is an act of care.

Exhibition-making as world-building: sequencing works, space, and audience experience so a show unfolds like a story rather than a survey. Always in service of the artists and the communities the work speaks to.

The House of Ego

Curator & Artist: Seyoun Taylor

An immersive solo exhibition by Seyoun Taylor exploring the complexities of identity, transformation, healing, and self-awareness through painting, installation, and storytelling.

The House of Ego is more than a platform. It is a movement of healing and awareness through storytelling. It uses art as activism to teach generations the importance of self-love and self-advocacy, grounding the belief that we must first heal ourselves to truly show up for our community. At its core, The House of Ego gives people permission to feel, to express, to question, to explore, and to heal.

Express Yourself: The Art of You

Creative Producer & Lead Curator: Seyoun Taylor

More than a fashion show: a space held for mental health journeys, for those we've lost too soon, and for anyone who has ever felt they had no room to express themselves.

We held space for those navigating their mental health journey and those who lost their light too soon. Designers were asked not to create for aesthetics but to ask themselves: what does self-expression look and feel like to me? Models walked with strength, courage, and vulnerability, as themselves.
